When Polk County Sheriff’s Deputy, John Maney, was told that there was no money in the budget for a new drug dog, he decided to take matters into his own hands. Deputy Maney took it upon himself to go to the pound, where he adopted a dog he named Rezadu. In August of this year, Rezadu was nationally certified as a drug dog. His trainer for the certification? None other than Deputy John Maney, Rezadu’s new partner.
