Hi - I was looking up "german shepherd mix" in google to see if I could find a dog that looked like mine, and I'm pretty sure Jesse and my dog, George, are twins! I mean not literally, but they look so alike I can't believe it! I rescued George from a pound in April of 2007 in Peoria, Illinois as a barely 8 week old puppy, and he was found alone, without any parents or siblings. The pound said he was a rottweiler mix, but I couldn't believe it since he has grown into a very sleek adult. I thought he was a German Shepherd mix, and after seeing Jesse I suppose that he could also be a Rottweiler mix after all! George has some very similar traits as Jesse; a favorite armchair, a love of tug of war and chewing, and definite bed-hogging tendencies. He doesnt like cats though, and his bark is much deeper and more mature than Jesse's. The resemblance is uncanny - let me know if you want me to send you pictures!
